Permeability

Selectively screen for compounds with good permeability in the intestine, skin, or blood-brain barrier using drug permeability services. Many CROs specialize in high-throughput analysis of drug permeability in classic assays like the Parallel Artificial Membrane Permeability (PAMPA) assay and Caco 2 cell permeability assay to help determine oral bioavailabilty and drug absorption characteristics of drug candidates.
If you have a question about permeability assay services, click on the orange Request button on the right side of the page to request information from one or more expert CROs.
Scroll down to browse PAMPA, Caco 2 bidirectional permeability, and skin permeability models, like EpiDerm and EpiAirway, as well as P glycoprotein assays for inhibitors and substrate identification for drug efflux. Use the filters on the left to refine the list and then click on any listing to view technical information or to ask a question.
Click on the Vendors tab to view a complete list of CROs that offer drug permeability assays and services.
